Say hello to my little friend

Say hello to Cosby the newest addition to our little family. I have always been wary of having a house dog but with Andre's new promotion he is having to work some night shifts so I wanted an alarm system or a dog and the dog was cheaper. I have found though that I LOVE this dog. He is so good with madd and madd loves him. I also think that he would scare off any bad guys that would try to break into our house. He is terrifying at first glance but after you get to know him he is a miniature pony sized teddy bear.

Okay on the Lyman side of our family watching the Christmas Story was a holiday tradition for us and it was the only thing I could think of when I took these pictures. So i thought my parents and sisters would appreciate them.

Christmas time is here again

We started Christmas early at our house this year. All of our neighbors started putting up their decorations the week before Thanksgiving, so we did the same.
Maddox really wanted to help with decorating the tree but between him trying to play king of the hill on the stool with me and instead of handing me the decorations hurling them across the room or rocketing them at the tile floor, his helping mom was short lived.

My catch up post

I realized that I haven't posted a picture of Maddox in his Halloween costume. So here he is, mama's little tiger.


I have not been very good at keeping up with blogging so today will be a post to sort of catch up on what we have been up to for the last little while.
Back in October we took a trip to Gardner Village with Andrew's brother Zach and his wife Ali and their two adorable kidlets. It was a lot of fun, Maddox thoroughly enjoyed himself. He got to feed the ducks in a pond and go to the petting zoo and ride a pony. He was in heaven. Maddox loves animals so he had the time of his life.

Around our house we are fanatical about two things football and the Greenbay Packers. Today is
their first game of the season and as you can see we are totally prepared for it.
